New Studio Opening Early 2025 - 62 High Street, Sandhurst
I have been tattooing for over 12 years. I had a life changing experience when my best friend died, I decided life was too short for compromises and committed myself to pursuing my dream. The reward for this effort has been the opening of my very own studio (Love tattoos) and it has gone strength to strength since 2015.
I enjoy all styles of tattooing, the ones I like most are the really challenging ones! I’m always pushing my boundaries and learning more every single day. I am currently working on a Japanese leg sleeve that’s really allowing me to do a style I love in a way that speaks to everything I love about traditional Japanese tattooing. Its been a joy to see the project come to life over the last year or so.
Why come to Love Tattoos? You’ll be welcomed with a smile and a chat… definitely a LOT of chatting!
My moto: NO DESIRE TO RETIRE!, I’ll be here until I die and fall off the chair!
I've always dreamed of tattooing. I always admired tattoo artists and their passion for art. As a kid I soon discovered that I loved drawing, painting and all forms of expressive art…So I decided I would follow my dreams and I moved to another country by myself to improve my skills and learn. Soon I found its not as easy as I expected. I struggled to get in the tattooing industry for years but I never gave up and chased my dream.
After a couple challenging and emotional years, I am happy that I found peace and happiness in tattooing. Looking forward what else does the future have for me and for my art!
My moto: Dream big and go for it! :)
Hola! My name is Raul, I was born in a cold December in the Spanish north coast (Asturias 1973). I started my art education at a very young age of 8 years old, thanks to my Dad and Grandad, who were both painters.
As a kid, I was always fascinated by the huge amount of tattoos that you could see in Benidorm in the 80s. Somehow, I knew one day I would be the one leaving permanent marks on people’s bodies. I started my tattoo career 25 years ago in the Canary Islands. Since I started tattooing I’ve had the pleasure of living and working in six different countries.
I remember drawing all the time with my dad from a young age, and as I grew older art become my biggest passion. When I took the step to go solo travelling I decided it was time to push myself and chase my dream career, tattooing.
I was fortunate enough to come across Love Tattoos and have loved every step of my journey so far doing an apprenticeship and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Knowing that being in tattoo industry is a tough career to pursue, I was so lucky to be welcomed into a friendly and welcoming studio. I can’t wait to see my art on people and meet some amazing people along the way!
